Description
The BBT-147-12 is made from precision-machined 4140 steel and is a high-performance tool for removing and installing selected threaded bottom brackets with 12-point tool sockets, including Chris King® ThreadFit™ T47 and ThreadFit™ 30. The BBT-147-12 is designed to be compatible with any bottom bracket that has the corresponding tool socket. It features an extra-deep body for extra-wide spindles and flat walls at the engagement point for recessed retaining rings. The BBT-147-12 has three methods for engaging the tool — a 3/8" drive socket, a 1" hex socket and 36-mm key flats — so you can loosen even the most stubborn bottom bracket shells. For added stability, the BBT-147-12 has integrated threads for use with the Park Tool BBT-RS internal bearing tool holding system or GPS-1 guide pins (each sold separately).
